I ran a contest on my facebook page and randomly picked a winner. The winner and her sweet family came out to my studio on a summer day. I have a beautiful outside area right next to the studio so we chose to shoot outside instead of inside! I tend to prefer outdoor photos for larger families, as my space inside is a little on the small side.
I enjoy doing giveaways and seeing people get excited and engaging on my page. Congrats to my winner!
These two beautiful people had the most gorgeous maternity session on our Oregon beaches. We started at one beach and then went to another. The night ended beautifully with a magnificent sunset. We are all anxiously awaiting this precious baby girl for her newborn photos!
Oregon Newborn Photographer | Temperance In the Nicu
Being an Oregon newborn photographer takes you many places sometimes. My friend of many years had a very dramatic delivery with the birth of her second child.
Baby Temperence suffered from shoulder dystocia and was stuck in the birth canal for several minutes. Upon being born, she was not breathing and the team worked on her for nearly an hour to revive her. Such an incredible miracle she is!
We planned on doing her newborn photos within my usual timeframe (about 1-2 weeks), but with her circumstances, she needed some time in the NICU.
I traveled 2 hours to visit my friend and her baby girl, and brought my camera of course! Having these photos of her time in the hospital serves as a reminder of the healing and our God's power to save!
Being on the Oregon coast, photography can be tricky since we get rain throughout the year. BUT if you have a studio, you can just bring the pictures inside! I had this family over to take multi-generational shots for them to remember this time by.
As an Oregon family photographer on the coast, I meet a lot of families, and some are serving us in the Coast Guard! This family is here for a while and I got to photograph them on one of our beautiful beaches.
The sun setting was gorgeous and the kids were a ton of fun on this evening.
Pretty baby Isabella came to the studio at 9 days old. She was joined by her big brother, who was sweetly infatuated with her.
Being an Oregon newborn photographer, I get to see lots of babies and families, but ones that I've known for a long time are always really special. I've known mama Stephanie for many years, since long before she became a mom. Actually I first met her just before I had my first baby, over 10 years ago. It has been fun watching her family grow!
Our men and women in the military amaze me. They truly give their lives for us and our country.
I was asked to take photos and video for a veteran's memorial service after his long battle with health issues related to his time during the Vietnam War. Family and friends came to pay their last respects and I documented the time. It was very humbling to watch his casket lower into the ground, knowing the sacrifices he made.
